Over five hundred people gather to embrace the old town of Ciutadella against the impact of mass tourism on Menorca

This Tuesday, August 20th, over 500 people gathered in Ciutadella to demand a different path for the island. Under the slogan “Menorca is not for sale,” the crowd assembled in the Cathedral Square to request a change of course, with tourism as an economic activity that respects both residents and natural resources.

Petition for Unconstitutionality of the Omnibus Decree Law

Allowing construction in flood or fire risk areas again, legalizing buildings on rural land without meeting the minimum parameters set by territorial planning, and contradicting higher regulations through a Decree Law based on “extraordinary and urgent necessity” represents a substantial change in the legal conditions of the Balearic Islands’ territory. This arbitrary move creates significant discrimination among citizens.

The Wildlife Recovery Center opens its doors to the public this summer

This Summer, Nature and Wildlife Lovers in Menorca Have the Opportunity to Visit GOB’s Wildlife Recovery Center. From Monday, July 1st, until September 30th, the Center will open its doors to the public from Monday to Saturday starting at 6 PM until sunset.
