What kind of limitations have allowed Menorca to remain a distinct island in contrast to other nearby areas where much of the territory has been overtaken by development? Are these limits a burden for the economy, or are they an asset?
This coming Wednesday, a talk followed by a discussion will be held in Maó on Menorca’s virtuous limits. The event will address current issues such as touristification and land-use planning, and will suggest ideas for the island’s potential futures.
It will be an opportunity to learn about data, observe realities, and reflect on the key questions that must be considered when discussing strategic decisions for Menorca.
The event is open to everyone and will take place on Wednesday, June 18, at 7:30 p.m., at Molí del Rei (Camí des Castell 53, Maó).
