This coming Saturday, 9 November at 10 am, there will be a practical workshop on what work needs to be done in an ecological kitchen garden during the autumn and winter. How to work the land, the varieties of plants to sow, etc.
It is very important to know when to do each thing in the kitchen garden and how to plan the work towards the end of the year in order to get the best results.
The workshop is open to the public, is free and there is no need to book. It will be at the Es Viver del GOB which is on the airport road by the old Mestral. It will begin at 10 am and is expected to end by 11.30 a.m.
Remember that Es Viver is open every Friday and Saturday from 10.00 until 13.30 hrs. Now is the time to look for ecological seedlings of various local varieties to plant in the kitchen garden. Moreover, there are packets of seeds if you want to produce your own seedlings. There are aromatic and culinary plants, flowering plants for terraces and various Menorcan autochthonous plants.
