Sunday 10 January, walking from Cala en Porter to the megalithic tomb of Ses Roques Lises, considered the most ancient construction in Menorca and one of the best conserved in the Balearics. The walk will also visit Na Comerma de Sa Garita. This is organized in conjuction with the Cultural Department of the Consell Insular, to mark the start of the Sant Antoni festivities. Jaume Obrador unanimously re-elected as the Island President of GOB
On 21 December, 2015, a general meeting of the members of GOB approved the summary of its activities carried out during 2015, the budget for 2016, the composition of the new board, and unanimously re-elected Jaume Obrador as its President.

New case of a falcon wounded by a shotgun
GOB reported a new case of a falcon wounded by a shotgun which was taken recently to the Recuperation Centre for Wild Animals. It is the third falcon in the last five years to be brought in for the same reason adding to the number of other protected birds at the Centre such as the eagle and the kestrel.
