Sunday 19 November, a walk to Calescoves

The Consell Insular and GOB have organised an excursion on foot for Sunday 19 November. It will go by different paths to Calescoves and area of great landscape beauty, where there is a talayotic necropolis composed of more than ninety caves and underground burial vaults excavated in the cliffs of the cove; a jetty also dating from the prehistoric time; a coastal establishment defined by a prehistoric wall; and a Roman shrine. Sunday 24 September. Walk to Castellàs de Caparrot de Forma

The Consell Insular and GOB are organising a walk for Sunday 24 September. It will be along different paths to the Castellàs de Caparrot de Forma, in Mahon which makes a large defensive wall isolating a coastal isthmus where there are, also, remains of habitation.
