On Sunday 1 April there will be a new talayotic excursion organized by the Consell Insular and GOB one of the cycle that brings together the discovery of sites on the island with scientific information on the talayotic world.
On this occasion there will be a walk along a gulley, with a visit to one of the largest caves in Menorca and the possibility to learn about the Sant Agustí settlement. It will be possible to see two talayots, 8 talayotic houses and a series of constructions similar to table enclosures.
Places are limited and need to be booked. If you would like to join this excursion, click here: https://www.gobmenorca.com/inscripcio-excursio. The walk will be of medium difficulty, with a large itinerary but with some areas with important steps as well as along some coast line. The booking confirmation will show the meeting place and time.
The archaeological site will be guided by an archaeologist. The return to the starting point will be by foot and it is expected to end at 13.30.
The cycle Are we Talayotic? Living in Menorca then and now (Som talaiòtics? Viure a Menorca abans i ara) is a programme organised by the Consell Insular and GOB.
