Green and red peppers put colour into our summer dishes. Now is the season and the kitchen and market gardens are full of them. They are a favourite in Menorcan cooking. So, on Sunday 20 August, farmers who are signed up to the Land Stewardship Scheme will be giving away free peppers to their clients at their market in Mahon. The hotels of Son Bou and the laws which can cover up confusion

Son Bou is the largest beach in Menorca. The dunes bordering the beach and the water coming from the gullies in the hinterland form a wetlands area that constitutes the second largest one in Menorca. Release of owls into the wild this evening

This evening a dozen owl chicks will be released that have been looked after by volunteers of the Recuperation Centre of Wild Animals. Each year we wait with great excitement for this date. Vitreous difficulties

Summer is the time for flies. They are creatures with surprising abilities but also with noisy limitations. The same with humans. The perception of how we can be affected differs between each of us in our respective worlds. The fly can die on a glass pane even though there is an open window alongside.
