The Menorca Wildlife Recovery Center is hosting a new family workshop on animal migrations this Tuesday, September 10th, at 5:30 PM.

Why do birds and other animals travel thousands of kilometers during their migrations? This interactive and educational activity will help participants understand this fascinating phenomenon. Animal migrations are regular movements that many species undertake, typically between their breeding grounds and wintering areas. These journeys, often long and perilous, are driven mainly by the search for food, suitable temperatures, and safe places to breed. At the Recovery Center, visitors can observe various examples of migratory and non-migratory animals and learn about the unique characteristics of some species native to Menorca.

The Wildlife Recovery Center, located within the Líthica Quarry, is open for visits through September from Monday to Saturday starting at 5:30 PM until sunset. Admission is €4 for residents and €7 for non-residents, with an additional €2 fee to access the center.
