We encourage everyone who enjoys photography to enter the competition organised by GOB Menorca with the intention of commemorating the 45th anniversary of the creation of the Menorcan section of the Balearic Islands GOB. With the motto La Menorca que Estimam (The Menorca we Love) the photographs will be considered by the judges for those that best transmit the conservation of Menorca’s natural values.
Menorca has a remarkable biodiversity and landscape that motivate us to o achieve an equilibrium between human activity and the conservation of its natural values. We do not want works showing environmental degradation but rather positive images encouraging us all to keep going for many more years.

The jury will award three prizes:
First prize of 300 euros in cash, and farm products of the Land Stewardship Scheme to the value of 75 euros.
Second prize of 150 euros in cash and farm products of the Land Stewardship Scheme to the value of 50 euros.
Third prize of 50 euros in cash and farm products of the Land Stewardship Scheme to the value of 25 euros.
The images should be sent as attachments in jpg form by email to administracio@gobmenorca.com by 4 November.
We would like to receive many unique and special images caught by the camera to give evidence of the large natural richness that surrounds us, that deserves the efforts of everyone to maintain and make Menorca a land with a high quality of life where human activities are in harmony with the environment.
