Next Sunday, 10 March, we have organised a public excursion to learn about the plants of the Binicalaf road. This is the time of the year in which we begin to find many plants in flower, amongst them the orchids. The rural areas have an immense variety of flora which were better known and employed for different uses by country people.

The excursion is organised by the botanic group of GOB and IME (Institut Menorquí d’Estudis) to get to know this environmental and ethnological heritage. Meet at 9 am at the entrance to the Binixica urbanization (Sant Climent to Cala en Porter road). No reservation is required. We expect to finish about 13.30. Walking shoes are recommended. The walk is of basic difficulty. We encourage you to join us for this event.
