Following the postponement of this event in June, we are delighted to announce that it has now been rearranged for Thursday 12 July.
This is a ROQUETA readers’ event, and we have invited leading island experts including representatives from GOB, the Menorcan Preservation Fund, the Biosphere Agency from the Consell Insular de Menorca and a private individual well versed in environmental matters to join us on a panel and take pre-prepared questions from readers on the local Menorcan environment and its sustainability. After each question, we will invite those attending to ask supplementary ones from the floor.
What plans and strategies are in place to help maintain and improve the island? How can we preserve this natural and beautiful setting for future generations? How much impact is tourism having? The questions are up to those who attend.
To book your place and send a question to be considered to be asked to the panel, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
The evening will start promptly at 6.15 and conclude by 7.15. A free glass of wine will be offered on arrival.
Please note, the event will take place in the Dalt Ses Bruixes, c/Roig 24, the new conference space of the hotel. It is located just around the corner from the hotel. There is a large car park at Sa Sínia De Cuc, a two-minute walk from the venue.
Thursday 12 July: 5.45 for 6.15pm
Jardí de ses Bruixes, Mahon
Free to attend. The discussion will be held in English.
