Our last excursion will take place at the end of this week. It will be to the farm, Sant Joan de Binissaida, in the Es Castell municipality. This farm is part of the Land Stewardship Scheme. It produces olives and olive oil with an ecology certification. It will be possible to learn about the production process, the management of the farm and to have a tasting of its products.

It will be in the morning of Saturday 16 December. The activity will cost 12 euros including guide, the tasting and a bus back to the start of the excursion. It is necessary to book in advance on this link .

We will meet at 9.30 am in Es Castell. The exact meeting point will be given when the reservation is made. The excursion will include the walk by paths through the town, a guided tour of the farm and a final tasting of its products and from other Land Stewardship Scheme farms. It is expected to finish at 13.30.

The Land Stewardship Scheme supports agricultural initiatives that are committed to a model based on environmental sustainability. To make them viable, it is necessary to support them so that they are sustainable both economically and socially.
