Ses Roques Llises

Sunday 10 January, walking  from Cala en Porter to the megalithic tomb of Ses Roques Lises, considered the most ancient construction in Menorca and one of the best conserved in the Balearics. The walk will also visit Na Comerma de Sa Garita. This is organized in conjuction with the Cultural Department of the Consell Insular, to mark the start of the Sant Antoni festivities.Meet at 9.30 am in the car park of Cala en Porter (near the beach). The walk will leave at 10 am. The itinerary includes seeing some unusual trees. The walk is of medium-low difficulty with few kilometres but slightly rugged.

Ses Roques Llises is considered one of the most ancient sites in Menorca while Na Comerma de sa Garita is a unique construction. The visits to these sites will be guided by archaeologists.

There will be a bus service to return to the car park. Estimated time of finish is 13.30.
