The first organised excursion for 2020 will be on Sunday 19 January. On this occasion the visit will be to the Cova dels Coloms and there will be an explanation of the work and restoration that has been done to eliminate the paint that affects the walls of one of the largest caves on the island.

The itinerary will take us through beautiful countryside. No booking is required and people can go directly to the meeting point for 9.30 am in the Church Square of Es Migjorn Gran. We will leave at 10 am.

The walk is of medium/low difficulty and will not be very long but there are some natural rocky parts along the path. There will be a tasting of island products. There will be a bus to return to the start which is estimated to be at 13.30.

Sharing a car with friends is recommended to reduce emissions.

The cycle “Are We Talayotic? Living in Menorca then and now” is a programme organised jointly between the Consell Insular and GOB.

The excursion is to mark the festivities for Sant Antoni.
