This Thursday, the last family workshop at the Centre for Recuperation of Wild Animals

The last family workshop for this summer at the Centre for Recuperation of Wild Animals will take place on Thursday 2 September from 18.30. We will get to know the story of the iguana, the American and African turtles and other exotic animals that live in our hospital. How have they arrived here? We will learn through play, things about these animals and the problems these invasive species pose on our native species. This Thursday, 26 August, from 18.30 we are continuing with activities for all the family at the Centre for Recuperation of Wild Animals. This time we will concentrate on how to discover what birds eat and analyse the uneaten parts that they cannot digest.  You can paint T-shirts, if you wear them, here. This Thursday, 19 August, we are continuing with the activities for all the family at the Recuperation Centre for Wild Animals. Look at the colours of the animals: many of them are very striking, others are more discreet. What role does the appearance of an animal play in its life and its survival? We will discover through games. Remember that it is obligatory to wear a mask when attending this activity. Thursday 12 August: family workshop in the animal hospital

This Thursday, 12 August, we are continuing with family activities in the hospital for wild animals. From 18.30, there will be a workshop to entertain the whole family, interacting with the animals that can be seen in the Centre for Recuperation of wild animals. The theme this week will revolve around the migration voyages made by birds. If you bring a Tshirt, you may be inspired by these birds to paint something on it. Visit the Hospital for Wild Animals this summer

The Centre for the Recuperation of Wild Animals has been open to visits by the public since 1 July.  It is an opportunity to take advantage of being able to see the most symbolic animals of Menorcan wild life, to see their problems and how the hospital attempts to remedy them. It is open from Mondays to Saturday from 18.00 hours until sundown. As in other years, on Thursdays there will be workshops for all the family to connect with the animals at the Centre.
